Overview

The Northern Logger & Timber Processor is the monthly magazine written and edited for the owners of logging and sawmilling businesses in the Northeast and Lake States region. Each issue contains a mix of feature articles, regular columns, news and advertising. Our editorial mission is to provide readers with the tools and information they need to be successful in a constantly changing business and regulatory environment. Special attention is paid to the critical issues of on-the-job safety and workplace efficiency.

Published monthly, The Northern Logger & Timber Processor has more than 12,000 paid subscribers, and is available for $18 per year. The magazine accepts both classified and display advertising, as well as freelance articles and other appropriate editorial submissions. Letters to the editor are encouraged.

The Northern Logger & Timber Processor works closely with its parent organization, The Northeastern Loggers' Association, on a wide variety of projects and events. These include the annual Northeast Forest Products Equipment Expo, the annual Industry Awards Program, the Forest Industries Exhibit Hall, and many others. The magazine also assists other regional industry associations in a variety of ways.
